Publishing your book and having fun while doing all the various tasks can be a very stressful job if you don’t remember to lighten up and have a great time doing the work that you love.

Having fun while publishing your book is an intentional action that many authors must take because of the demands of the business. There are many things to be learned and a lot to accomplish when creating a successful title and we have to remember to take steps to enjoying the process of creating success in this industry.

Here are some of the things that you can do to make publishing your book a fun and fulfilling experience.

Keep Life Simple. You don’t want to have too many irons in the flame at one time because one of them will certainly get burned! Don’t start too many other projects while you are writing your book. You don’t want to get involved with too many other activities no matter how noble, because you are creating a successful project and it requires a good amount of focus to really succeed.

Use Time Management. You want to be sure that you are managing your time well and sticking to your deadlines. To have good time management you need to prioritize. While you are writing your book, there’s not too many more important things that you could be doing so don’t let other things get in the way. You also need to work by a good list of things-to-do. Keep a daily calendar and plan your week ahead of time.

Be Patient. You want to work vigorously through your work but you also want to be patient with results. Things take time to build and success takes time to reward you for your hard work; but it always comes to those who are diligent and patient.

Use Your Favorite Marketing Methods. After publishing your book then you need will move into marketing. There are several options in marketing but you especially want to utilize the ones that work best for you. For instance, if you’re a great speaker, then doing speaking engagements should be your top marketing tool.

When publishing your book and marketing it, always remind yourself on the rough days why you are doing this in the first place. Go back to your “first love” and recall the passion and vision you had to rejuvenate yourself.
